Frequently Asked Questions
Serving Fort Worth Since 2005
What kind of treatments can I get at Skin Care Fort Worth?
We are all about your face! Almost all of our services are focused only on the face. A few services are offered for the neck, hands, or under the arms. In many cases, if you want treatments or services for areas other than your face, it may be best for you to find a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. The “Our Services” page can help you discover almost every treatment we provide!
Who will perform my procedure at Skin Care Fort Worth?
All injectable and non-surgical procedures (Botox®, fillers, liquid rhinoplasty, InstaLift® threads, etc.) are provided personally by Peter J. Damico, MD. Some non-invasive procedures and minimally invasive procedures, such as some laser procedures, chemical peels and microneedling are performed by a trained and experienced member of our staff, Laurel. Lu will provide any lab services when necessary. Barbara, Sarah and Irene may be around to offer a friendly smile. 🙂

How much do your services cost?
We’re glad you asked, because we’d love to tell you! For a list of all of our prices, please visit the “Our Prices” page. In general, Botox® is $13 per unit. Fillers range from $650 to $800 for many popular areas. Cheeks are typically $1600+ and a non-surgical nose job is $995. Our thread treatments start at $2800. Chemical peels start at $125 and laser treatments start at $200. More treatment prices are available on the full price list linked above. Consultations are complimentary. (Updated 06/2022. Prices are subject to change.)
Can you tell me exactly how much my treatment will cost?
We are happy to give an estimate over the phone or email. However, the best way to estimate your treatment costs and goals is to come see us for a complimentary in-person consultation! When we can see you in front of us, it is much easier to tell you what kind of treatments will help you and we can give you a much more accurate estimate. We invite you to please discuss any concerns over exact costs with Dr. Damico before you receive any treatment.
Can I get my Botox® treatment on the same day as my consultation?
Botox® is a delightfully quick procedure. Should you and Dr. Damico decide to proceed with treatment, you can absolutely get your Botox® during the same appointment time as your consultation!
Can I get my filler done at the same appointment time as my consultation if I decide that I want to move forward with treatment?
If you tell us that you are considering a filler treatment when we schedule your consultation, we will gladly do our best to find a time on Dr. Damico’s calendar that would allow you to receive treatment at that same time. However, because filler takes more of Dr. Damico’s time than a simple Botox® treatment, we can’t guarantee that he will be able to do your filler that same day.
Which services require a consultation before I can schedule my treatment session?
We know this can be very disappointing, but not every treatment is a good option for everyone. For various reasons, you may not be a good fit for a particular treatment. Our services that require approval for treatment include: Under-eye/tear trough filler, InstaLift® threads, and non-surgical nose job. You will receive a 15-minute consultation-only appointment before we can put you on Dr. Damico’s schedule for treatment at a later date. We apologize for the inconvenience, but it is not likely that we can accommodate same-day treatment for these services.
It is possible (but not guaranteed) with other services, such as chemical peels, laser procedures, and microneedling, that you may receive treatment on the same day of your consultation. Whether or not you can receive treatment that day depends on a variety of factors.
Can Dr. Damico help me with my acne?
If you are currently experiencing major acne symptoms, we recommend that you find a dermatologist who can provide you with proper medical dermatological care. Our treatment portfolio is meant for cosmetic concerns. Acne is a medical condition. If you do not have active acne and only have scars, we may be able to help you! You can learn more during a complimentary consultation.
I have a concerning skin spot on my body. Will Dr. Damico remove it for me?
For people who are only cosmetic aesthetic patients (and are not associated with Dr. Damico’s medical practice): Unfortunately, Dr. Damico can not provide medical dermatological services to you. He can not remove potentially cancerous growths anywhere on the body or provide a full-body skin check. It is in your best interest to find a dermatologist who can provide proper follow-up and who is contracted with your medical health insurance. If you have simple brown spots on your face from aging or sun damage, our laser could be an excellent treatment option. If you have questions, please give us a call! (817) 738-9268.
Can Dr. Damico dissolve filler that I received somewhere else?
If the dermal filler you received is a hyaluronic acid based filler, then Dr. Damico can dissolve it for you. Dissolving fees for filler received at other facilities start at $250. Not all filler can be dissolved at our office, so it is important to know the product that was used for your treatment.
What are the risks of receiving aesthetic treatments?
While we make every effort to avoid complications, they can occur. We encourage you to consider the risks and benefits of the treatments you are receiving. Resources regarding risks of treatment are available to you upon request. Individual treatment pages on our website also feature links to additional safety information. No, we do not accept any medical insurances for any cosmetic procedures provided at Skin Care Fort Worth.
Do you accept CareCredit®?
Unfortunately, we do not accept CareCredit®.

You will remain responsible for payment in the event that any funds are refused or redacted. Additionally, we cannot offer assistance in justifying any purchases to your account administrators.

Why didn’t you reply to my email/consultation request?
Please check your email’s spam folder if you do not see a response to your request. The subject line for our response will always be “Appointment Request for [YOUR NAME]” from Peter J. Damico, MD. To help prevent spam, we will refrain from directly listing the reply-to email here. Please note, Dr. Damico does not ever personally view any email requests sent from this website.
However, we receive many requests over email. If it is clear that you will not benefit from our services (eg. “I am interested in non-surgical liposuction” which is a service we don’t provide) then your email may not receive any response.
